WHERE WILL SHELBY SERVE?!?
SO....I guess the word is out....I TURNED IN MY MISSION PAPERS!! That is right!! :D On Thursday October 9, 2008 I submitted my request to serve the Lord, and no sooner than Wednesday October 22, 2008 do I expect to get my response!! I am SUPER excited for the call, the opportunity to serve and teach, the temple experience, the stress, the investigators to come, the blessings, the ugly but comfy shoes, the spiritual overload, the MTC, the happiness, the constant companions, the badge, the complete lifestyle change, the LETTERS, the new-found friends, just...EVERYTHING! :D Anyways, I just thought it would be appropriate to post my giddiness on my blog! :D If you want to cast your bet on where I will be called to, feel free to place it as a comment to this post. :D

ARE YOU PEOPLE TRYING TO TORTURE ME?? This blog has been posted for 23 hours and NOBODY has responded...!! :( haha ... I can only be patient for so many things at once...and waiting for the actual CALL is occupying that spot right now...so get guessing!! :D haha
Congrats!! That is so awesome Shelby, I am really excited for you! Ok... My guess is... somewhere FUN... Austrailia? (just cause I've always wanted to go there) and my mom wants to guess Mongolia! ;) Haha.. anyways, we are really really excited, I know you'll bless so many people's lives with your special bubbly spirit. We love you!

Hey Shelby, it's your old babysitter again...ha ha! It's an exciting thing a mission. That's what I was awaiting in Pingree when I was babysitting you guys a lot. Where does time go...? Your mission will have the greatest impact on your life. It will be the most rewarding and the most difficult. You will be a great missionary! I think you will go to Europe somewhere...like France
Oh that is so cool! I always said if I wasn't married by 21 I would be going on a mission. Well, I will miss out on that opportunity for now but later I will be able to fulfill that desire with my husband! I am so happy for you! I hope you go on a Spanish speaking mission! You would have so many more opportunities when you got home also! Please write me and keep me posted. I am excited to hear where you are called to.
CONGRATS Little lady! I am so proud of you. Im very excited for you. Clay and I were actually planning on going there within the next year, we might have to accidently run into you!! I am very excited, thanks for being such a wonderful example.
